Summary
In alleviating the symptoms of acute and chronic prostatitis (lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary complaints, pain, sexual dysfunction), in addition to standard therapy, phytotherapeutics are increasingly used as part of combined therapy. The Proxelan rectal suppository (hyaluronic acid, pumpkin seed oil extract, gotu kola, frankincense, immortelle, Australian tea tree, vitamin E) with complex active ingredients is a locally acting product that reduces pelvic pain and urination complaints and improves the quality of life. Its long-term use has no side effects, its effectiveness has been proven not only in the treatment of prostatitis, but also in the case of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
