Summary
Prostate cancer is one of the most common and therefore one of the most significant cancer among men. In this summary, in addition to the epidemiological and etiological data, we discuss the most important attributes of the prostate-specific antigen, which is commonly used in the screening, and the additional markers that can help diagnose the disease. The most important international and Hungarian studies, which deal with prostate cancer screening, are presented.
