The operation was performed after a two-month postponement because these compelling circumstances. During this time, the patient was monitored closely, received conservative hematopoietic and antibiotic therapy, as a result of which his general condition and laboratory values and improved. Following nephrectomy, he made a full recovery. The current legislation (1997. Act CLIV. on Health Care) defines the possibility and formal requirements for refusing care.
