Summary
The treatment of metastatic prostate cancer has changed significantly in recent years, but the basis is still the withdrawal of the testosterone. An almost inherent part of this process is the castration resistance. Several new treatment modalities with different sequences have been introduced to treat the cancer progression that occurred at this time. In addition to an overview of these, we also summarize the modern treatment options for the bone metastases most commonly seen at this stage.
